11 years ago today a boy drove over an hour to pick up a girl in the freezing rain and drive her to see a movie that he didn't want to see (Lord of the Rings, part 3). He fell asleep in the movie, she sat next to a really fat man who ate popcorn the whole time (3 and 1/2 hours). When it was finally over he started to drive her back home but because it was so rainy and so cold, the windows fogged up really bad so they had to wait for them to unfog. While sitting in the car she decided to write her name in the fog on his window, so just in case his window ever fogged up again, he would see her name and think of her. 11 years ago today, a boy fell in love with a girl he had just met. 11 years ago today, a girl realized that maybe God hadn't given up on her when it came to finding someone who made her truly laugh. 11 years ago today, God had a plan, a bigger plan then that boy and that girl could see.
And here I am, 11 years later thinking back on that blonde hair, blued eye, pants sagging, chain wearing kid I met, the boy I fell in love with, the guy I got engaged to, the man I married and the husband that has given me my newest title......
